As a family owned boutique building company – keeping our builder/client relationship personal and encouraging you to input when  it comes to your project.  We’re with you every step of the way! From the design stages to beyond completion of your build – we provide timely updates and welcome regular site visits to ensure you are content with the construction of your new home

Although most were friendly and eager to build our designer home, our feeling was that they didn’t really listen to us to understand our ideas and needs, and what we ultimately wanted to achieve.

We then came across Rowan Wright from Discovery Building Contractors and were pleasantly surprised with his approach. Unlike many of the other building companies we met with, Rowan is builder and not a salesperson on commission, he is also the company owner. Rowan was the only consultant that took the time to visit us to meet face to face. Furthermore, he offered feedback outlined the pros and cons in relation to several blocks of land we were looking at. His knowledge, honesty, advice and guidance were invaluable throughout the design phase.
He was up front with all inclusions, and once we signed the contract there were no hidden surprises. Everything we discussed and agreed upon was included in the build price! In fact, when we compared Discovery’s overall upfront package price with some of the other builders’ base price plus extras, Discovery’s price was more than competitive.
Rowan’s wife Karyn helped us with the selections for fixtures, fittings, flooring, colours etc and her input was invaluable. She listened to our ideas in relation to the style we were after and put forward ideas that helped make the entire process stress free.
During the construction phase, Rowan dealt with our queries with honesty and accuracy. It was clear, from an outsider’s perspective, that he had a positive relationship with all his subcontractors, which was made evident in the quality of finish throughout our home. He never once settled for anything less than perfect. His attention to detail was synonymous amongst the tradesman we spoke to.
We are extremely proud to say we own a Discovery built home and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a more personalised approach.
